Thomas Hine is a folk and Americana musician from Colorado who has just released a new album titled 'Some Notion Or Novelty' (Spring 2016). His music has been recognized locally, nationally and internationally, having songs appear on over a hundred programs from broadcasters such as OpenAir Colorado Public Radio and BBC Radio Scotland. This release follows his last two albums, 'Forgive My Future' (2013) and 'Into The Bottomlands' (2011), and continues in the same tradition of folk and roots music while occasionally exploring a bit more experimentation with sound and style. His songs have been considered as personal, reflective, and poetic. Some songs also explore the obscure history and natural environment of his native Colorado. Colorado Music Buzz Magazine described his last album as "a fine polished emerald . . . serene, cautionary, insightful, and foreboding . . . the album is strong poetic motion from start to finish . . . realistically satirical yet humbly optimistic ." AmericanaUK added - "like Elliott Smith doing Townes van Zandt; beautiful and dark . . . this is lovely, poetic music." Hine can be found performing at festivals and intimate venues around the Colorado Front Range and has also just returned from some European performances in support of the new album.
