Snake Rattle Rattle Snake

Snake Rattle Rattle Snake, fronted by singer Hayley Helmericks, along with brother Wilson Helmericks, husband Doug Spencer and drummer Andrew Warner, bring dark synth-heavy rock n' roll to the Denver music scene. Their sound is both icy and lush, walking in the shadowy realm of menacing atmosphere and pulsing rhythm. Since playing their first show on Valentine's Day 2009, they have gone on to tour the West coast extensively and play with notable national acts like The Rapture, Rocket From The Crypt, The Black Angels and The Dead Weather. In 2011 Snake Rattle Rattle Snake was the first band to release an album with then upstart label Greater Than Collective and Sineater went on to be Twist & Shout's #1 best selling local record of the same year. They were named "Best Indie Band" three years running (2010-2013) by The Westword, Band of the Year by Denver Post and 303 magazine and were awarded a prestigious IMTour grant by Westaf in 2012. Their sophomore album Totem was released in 2014 and was named best local release of the year by Denver Westword.
